PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

MORE ABOUT THE LEVELING SYSTEM

While the goal is for each student to perform on Level 5 mastery for each performance objective, the program recognizes individual differences. Whereas one student may possess strong verbal skills, another is particular adept at mathematics. EnterTech aims to illuminate the strengths of learners so they may capitalize on them in the workforce; and to show where areas of improvement can be made.

It’s important to note that not all EnterTech tasks represent the three levels. Performance objective levels are matched to tasks according to the context and difficulty of the activity. A good example is safety. In one task a student responds to safety signs presented in the workplace. This is demonstration of basic knowledge, Level 3. In a later task, the student comes upon a safety hazard and must problem-solve the process for correction and notification to appropriate supervisors. This is a Level 5 integration of knowledge into the workplace.
